The Fort Pickering Light was built in 1871 and served the harbor in Salem, Massachusetts till 1969. The United States Coast Guard deactivated the light in 1969 and the City of Salem relit it as a private aid in 1983.
I'm a self taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. My photography has been shown at the Glickman Library at the University of Southern Maine and the Azure Rising Art Gallery in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
