The Town of Fryeburg, Maine had seven covered bridges during the 19th century. The Hemlock Covered Bridge is the last surviving bridge of this small town. The bridge has a span of 116 feet, crosses the Old Course Saco River and uses Paddleford truss construction.
I'm a self taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. My photography has been shown at the Glickman Library at the University of Southern Maine and the Azure Rising Art Gallery in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
