Description
In the northeast section of Vermont you'll fine the town of Troy. A single span covered bridge spans the Missisquoi River in a remote part of town. The River Road Covered Bridge was built in 1910, has a length of 94 feet and uses a Town lattice truss construction. This bridge caught on fire on February 6, 2021 and collapsed into the river. The cause of the fire was a broken down snowmobile.
