Description
The Chain Bridge is a 225 foot single span suspension bridge crossing the Merrimac River between Newburyport and Amesbury, Massachusetts. Deer Island sits in the middle of the river and serves as the border between the two towns. A bridge has been in this location since 1792 and the first wrought-iron chain suspension bridge was built in 1810.

Steve, I have driven past this bridge many times and always wanted to get a photo of it. You have done better than I could have. Great POV!

Nice work Steve. I have wanted to get that shot forever! I almost walked up the highway to do it.
