Description
The Cheshire Railroad Stone Arch Bridge is located in Keene, New Hampshire. Built in 1847 by the Cheshire Railroad providing service between Fitchburg, Massachusetts and Bellows Falls, Vermont. The bridge has a span of 68 feet and a rise of 48 feet above the water. The line was abandoned in 1972 and the state of New Hampshire acquired the right of way.
