Photographing the Old Orchard Beach Pier is getting to be one of my most favorite photo shoots. The pier is located in Old Orchard, Maine along the Maine seacoast. The first pier was built on this site in 1898 and several have been loss to storms and fire. The current pier was reopened in 1980 after being completely destroyed by the blizzard of 1978.
About Steve Brown
I'm a self taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. My photography has been shown at the Glickman Library at the University of Southern Maine and the Azure Rising Art Gallery in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
