Artist's Description
The Cape Neddick Light sit off the point in York, Maine on a island called the Nubble. The lighthouse is more commonly called the Nubble. Congress appropriated $15,000 to build a light station in 1874 and the light put into use in 1879.
About Steve Brown
I'm a self taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. My photography has been shown at the Glickman Library at the University of Southern Maine and the Azure Rising Art Gallery in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
