Airplane sitting on the ice at the ice runway in Alton Bay, New Hampshire. This 2,600 long runway is the only air strip approved by the Federal Aviation Administration in the lower 48 states.
I'm a self-taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. I'm a member of the National Society for the Preservation of Covered Bridges and the Vermont Covered Bridge Society. My work has been shown at several local art galleries.
