The Scott Covered Bridge is 277 feet in length and spans the West River in Townshend, Vermont. The bridge was built in 1870 and is considered one of the longest bridges in the state with the Dummerston bridge being a little longer. The bridge was taken out of service and is used for foot traffic only.
