On a cold New England day along the coast of Maine, the Old Orchard Beach Pier stands tall as the sun makes its daily appearance. With the tide being out, I was able to capture the ripples in the sand with a reflecting sun. The whole scene has that warm feeling making it worth getting up early for a morning shoot.
I'm a self taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. My photography has been shown at the Glickman Library at the University of Southern Maine and the Azure Rising Art Gallery in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
