Artist's Description
Winters in New Hampshire can be long and cold, but they can also be beautiful if you take the time and explore. The Durgin Covered Bridge is in the town of Sandwich, New Hampshire and spans the Cold River. Built in 1869 by Jacob Berry, has a span of 110 feet and uses Paddleford truss design with arches that were added in 1968 - 69.
About Steve Brown
I'm a self taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. My photography has been shown at the Glickman Library at the University of Southern Maine and the Azure Rising Art Gallery in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
