Description
The Pier Railroad Covered Bridge spans the Sugar River in Newport, New Hampshire. The bridge is a two-span bridge using double Town-Pratt lattice trusses. The bridge was built in 1907 for the Boston and Maine Railroad and was last used in 1977. Today it's used as a rail trail.
