The Taftsville Covered Bridge is a two span bridge that crosses the Ottauquechee River in Woodstock, Vermont. The bridge has a total length of 189 feet and uses a modified multiple kingpost truss with semi independent aches. The bridge was built in 1836 and received major damage in 2013 by Hurricane Irene.
I'm a self taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. My photography has been shown at the Glickman Library at the University of Southern Maine and the Azure Rising Art Gallery in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
