Artist's Description
The Burkeville Covered Bridge is one of a few covered bridges in Massachusetts still standing. Built around 1870, this bridge uses a multiple kingrod truss system ( a modified Howe truss ). The bridge can be found in Conway, Massachusetts spanning the South River.
About Steve Brown
I'm a self taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. My photography has been shown at the Glickman Library at the University of Southern Maine and the Azure Rising Art Gallery in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
