Artist's Description
Built in 1869 and spanning the Cold River in Sandwich, New Hampshire. The bridge was named after James Durgin who owned a grist mill near by. The bridge has a span of 110 feet and uses Paddleford truss design with a laminated arches added in the late 60's.
About Steve Brown
I'm a self taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. My photography has been shown at the Glickman Library at the University of Southern Maine and the Azure Rising Art Gallery in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
