Artist's Description
the Comet Mine is located in Jefferson county, Montana. The mine was established in 1883 by the Helena and Livingston Smelting and Reduction Company. The mine ran till 1941 when the mine was exhausted. The primary ore was lead, zinc, copper, silver and gold.
About Steve Brown
I'm a self taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. My photography has been shown at the Glickman Library at the University of Southern Maine and the Azure Rising Art Gallery in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
