Artist's Description
The Old Orchard Beach Pier extends 500 feet into the Atlantic Ocean along the coast of Maine. The pier was originally built in 1898 and torn apart by several storms and a fire in 1969. The pier that stands today was re-opened in 1980 after the blizzard of 1978 destroyed most of it.
About Steve Brown
I'm a self taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. My photography has been shown at the Glickman Library at the University of Southern Maine and the Azure Rising Art Gallery in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.

Awesome perspective! And those reflections are wonderful! I am very pleased to feature your lovely artwork in the group ‘Covered Bridges and Historical Buildings.’ Please add it to the “2023 First Quarter Featured Image Collection” thread in the discussions area to record and display your image amongst the best in the group. Thank you! 1/4/23
