On a drab and rainy day we took a ride along the Maine seacoast. As we approached The Gut in the town of South Bristol, the sun popped out for about ten minutes. I was able to capture this lone sailboat on its mooring making the trip a rewarding day.
I'm a self taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. My photography has been shown at the Glickman Library at the University of Southern Maine and the Azure Rising Art Gallery in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
