Artist's Description
Along the seacoast of New Hampshire lies a 32 acre park call Great Island Common located in the town of New Castle. Just offshore is the Whaleback Lighthouse which marks the entrance to Portsmouth Harbor. The present lighthouse was built in 1872 for the cost of $75,000.
About Steve Brown
I'm a self taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. My photography has been shown at the Glickman Library at the University of Southern Maine and the Azure Rising Art Gallery in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
