Artist's Description

The Cheshire Railroad Stone Arch Bridge is located in Keene, New Hampshire. Built in 1847 by the Cheshire Railroad providing service between Fitchburg, Massachusetts and Bellows Falls, Vermont. The bridge has a span of 68 feet and a rise of 48 feet above the water. The line was abandoned in 1972 and the state of New Hampshire acquired the right of way.

About Steve Brown

Steve Brown

I'm a self taught photographer who started competing in Camera Clubs in the early 80's. After retirement in 2011, I invested in new camera equipment and started a new life as a photographer. I enjoy photographing covered bridges and anything I find long the way. My photography has been shown at the Glickman Library at the University of Southern Maine and the Azure Rising Art Gallery in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
