Description
The Hemlock Covered Bridge is the last surviving 19th century covered bridge in the Fryeburg, Maine area. At one time, seven bridges were in the Fryeburg area. The bridge has a total length of 116 feet, uses Paddleford truss construction, built in 1857 and spans the Old Course Saco River.
